Member Biography Michèle Parent
Before joining CBC/Radio-Canada, Michèle worked six years at Standard Life. As Vice President, Disability Claims Management and Health and Wellness, she lead the development of the service offer in health and wellness for group insurance clients. She also held the position of Vice President, External Communications and Public Affairs. Before joining Standard Life, Michèle had a 13-year career at Bell Canada where she rose to the position of Director of Health and Safety, responsible for health and safety, health promotion and the employee assistance program at Bell and its affiliated companies. Michèle holds a Bachelor degree in Biology (ecology) from Université de Montréal, a Master’s Degree in Occupational Health from McGill University and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from l’École des Hautes Études Commerciales. She is a Certified Human Resources Professionnal (CHRP) and Past President of l’Association Québécoise pour l’Hygiène et la Santé et la Sécurité du Travail.
